The inaugural Short Story America Festival and Conference is scheduled for September 21st – 23rd 2012
in historic Beaufort, South Carolina, a gorgeous coastal community which celebrated its 300th birthday in 2011.
This leading arts community is a perfect destination for writers and readers of short fiction, and is the home of Short Story America. The Short Story America Festival and Conference will be a coming-together of writers, readers, teachers and publishers of short stories.
If you love short stories, from reading to discussion, from writing stories to meeting authors to helping students in developing their writing craft, then you will enjoy the Short Story America Festival and Conference!
Author readings, book signings and discussions, writing seminars, professional development for teachers, shopping from a variety of vendors, and social gatherings will highlight the annual three-day celebration of the short story.
